Mexican Pie Recipe


Ingredients:

1: Boneless Chicken 150g (Small Chopped)

2: Tomato.....  1 Large size (Chopped)

3: Onion (chopped)1  cup

4: Capsicum 1 cup chopped

 5:A Cups of corn kernels

6: A clove of garlic (crushed)

7: 1 Teaspoon of chili powder

8:  1 Spoon of cumin powder

 9: Salt to taste

10: Two teaspoons of pure oil

11: Cheese 1 Cup (small chopped)

 To make berries crust:

12: A Cup of cornflour

13: Chicken stock 1 cup

14: A pinch of cumin powder

15: Sprinkle with chili powder




Procedure:

1: Heat the oil in a pan and add the chicken (boneless) and cook over medium heat for five minutes until it becomes brown on all sides.

2: Add all the ingredients except the cheese and cook on low heat for five minutes.

3: Take a baking dish and lightly oil it, then put the chicken mixture in it and put cheese on top. 

 4: Also, boil the stock in a saucepan, remembering that it has no fat at all.

 5: Add cornflour, cumin powder, and chili powder. 

6: Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens, perhaps three minutes.

7: Then immediately put this mixture on top of the cheese in the baking dish.

8: Then make it uniform and make sure that the mixture above is evenly distributed on all sides.


9: Finally, place the dish in the oven and bake at 200 degrees Celsius or 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 25 minutes or until the external mixture is golden brown and the internal ingredients start to rise. 

10:Serve this dish hot.
