              Bhindi Masala South Indian style

Ingredients:

1. Okra _____ half a kilo

2. Half a cup of oil

3. Garlic _____ 1 teaspoon

4. Salt _____ 1 teaspoon

5. Turmeric _____ Half a teaspoon

6. Klonji _____ half a teaspoon

7. Mustard seeds _____ Half a teaspoon

8. Cumin _____ Half a teaspoon

9.curry leaves _____ according to taste

10. Red Pepper _____ 1 teaspoon crushed

11. Onion _____ 1 piece

12. Tomatoes _____ 1 piece

13. Green pepper _____ 4 pieces



Method:

1. First fry the okras in oil till they turn brown.

2. Then take them out and set them aside.

3. Now fry garlic, salt, crushed red pepper, kalonji, mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves, and turmeric in the same oil and add a little water.

4. Then add tomatoes, onions and cook on low heat.

5. Finally add the fried okras, green chilies and leave them on low heat for ten minutes.

6. Bhendi Masala is ready.
